Process Research Workshop
AOM, Chicago
Saturday, August 8, 2009 4:30 - 6:30 PM

Overview

This workshop is addressed to researchers interested in or involved in studying dynamic organizational phenomena such as how change unfolds over time in individuals, groups, organizations and programs. There is a need for such a workshop given the importance of temporally sensitive how questions, the relative neglect of these issues in mainstream research methods texts and thinking, and the distinctive epistemological, theoretical, methodological and practical issues raised by process thinking and research. The workshop is designed to support a community of scholars across Academy divisions who want to share and become acquainted with methods for conducting process studies.
